Many times, people will ask themselves, "Can I really change?" Why is this question on the tip of everyone's tongue? People are exhausted from the perpetual cycle of the areas in their lives that they hate. They have tried everything: sometimes multiple times. When it comes to waving the magic wand, it often comes down to timing and a professional who knows what they're doing.
What creates room for real change? Acceptance creates room for real change. Accepting our selves in our current situation and being truly accepted by the professional from whom we are seeking support. The wonderful American psychologist Carl Rogers said it best, "The curious paradox is that when I accept myself, just as I am, then I can change." We may not accept our problem, but we can accept that this is where we are, how we got here and that we are ready to go elsewhere; and fast!
Once all of this occurs, and you know what it is that you are wanting, powerful therapy can take place. Yes, there are often deep awakenings, shadow work, and dark nights of the soul that we go through, which can be cathartic experiences that lead to change, but most change can occur in an instant.
Clinical subconscious work brings about strong motivation, instant change and courage that leads to making even bigger changes than a person could have imagined making on their own. When you find a good hypnotherapist, they will help you make deep discoveries about yourself and find some of the blocked roads that you weren't even aware were there for you to travel. Can I change? Yes. You can always change. You can change over and over again as many times as you like, until you finally find what's best; and you will find what's best. This is what we do.
